Love thrills and chills for a fantastic price and excellent value?! Aussie World is really fun, and has a lot to offer for an adventurous day out with your support person.

Rainbow-colored arch with "Aussie World" sign, lit by colorful bulbs, set against a cloudy sky. Vertical striped pillars flank the arch.

We were enticed by the Inclusion Day hosted by The Ability Collective. I saw their post on Facebook about it, and I wanted to go and support others with disabilities.

They had little stalls all set up for disabled persons selling their hand crafted goodies to buy, which was really cool. You could enter their competition for a lucky door prize, buy raffle tickets and there was even an open mic you could sign up for! Lots of ways to support.

After perusing the market we headed to play some games. I thought they were reasonably priced at 3 for $20, so I decided to try them. Plus some of those cool prizes are so tempting.

Carnival booth with colourful stuffed animals, including a dragon and unicorn. Price sign: $8, $50, $20. Vibrant, playful atmosphere.

There are many rides there which had next to no line ups when we went, which would be awesome if you're a thrill seeker! I'm terrified of heights so my support worker and I only went on the carousel.

It was incredibly relaxing and wonderful, as if I healed a part of my inner child while enjoying the beautiful horses and the surrounding view.

Colourful carousel with ornate patterns and horse figures in a park under a cloudy sky. The atmosphere is playful, surrounded by a red fence.

Another place I really liked was the Illusionarium. Quirky little rooms that you make your way through with a set of glasses on. I won't go into details though, so you can find out for yourself what's in there!

Entrance to Professor Boggleworth's Illusionarium with a large sign. Decor includes painted columns, a checkerboard pattern, and "Enter Here" text.

We also wanted to experience the Mayhem Maze. Oh my gosh though, I screamed so much - haha! It does have a warning sign so I was semi-prepared, kind of. I get severe anxiety with Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and thought why am I doing this to myself? It was so fun though - once I was out of there!

A sign for "Mayhem Maze" warns visitors about the attraction's intensity and the age restriction of 12+. It features red and black text.

The facilities are great too at Aussie World. Accessible parking and toilets and it is very wheelchair friendly around the venue. They have lockers if needed in an easy location too. Probably the only downfall is you can't BYO food. The food was priced well though at the Fun Cafe, and the servings were good sizes.

I also want to make a special note on the staff. We had interactions with quite a few staff members, and they were all so friendly, helpful and bubbly. One even went out of their way to ask if we needed help, as we were trying to find something on the map. It can definitely brighten your day when everyone is so cheerful.

In summary, I had a blast despite I don't do rides. There was enough to see and do to have a really enjoyable day. I highly recommend it.
