A budget-friendly art day with so much choice in creativity, count me in! We visited the Plaster Fun House and had so much fun. The hardest part was choosing what to paint.
There were holiday themes, cute movie characters, and even super nerdy options—I loved that! There were so many Star Wars choices, too. You can browse some of the awesome pieces on offer here. It might make it a bit easier for you when you get there.

All you have to do is book online your painting session for free and then choose what you'd like to paint on the day. The prices are really good and you can get the colours you'd like to use from the wonderful staff at the counter. They provide the paints, water pot, aprons and brushes for you.
Prices start from $5 to around $30 for larger pieces, which I think is excellent. You can add extras like glitter and glaze for free. You can also add cool accessories like googly eyes for great prices, to perfect your masterpiece. There is a fantastic range of accessories on offer. I'm no Picasso, but I loved how mine turned out. I would have added the false eyelashes too on mine, but sadly they had sold out haha! That would have been so cute.

My support worker also got into the fun and did a beautiful candle holder for Christmas. What an awesome keepsake to use year after year. The two hour session is ample, and it flies by to be honest as you concentrate on making a pretty piece you want to take home.

You could make something for your home or as a wonderful gift for someone’s birthday or Christmas. It'd be such a wonderful gift idea. They also sell take home packs which are really cool. Perfect for an at home art & craft day.
I really enjoyed my visit. It was a productive, calming day out, and taking home a lovely piece of art was a wonderful bonus.

👥 Crowds
It was very noisy when we went as there was a child's birthday party, haha. We were so engrossed in our painting we didn't care. We were in the zone!
The seating is ok and we didn't feel too cramped in. It was very busy when we went and looked fully booked out.
