Looking for a beautiful breakfast or lunch outing? I got you! The Lookout Cafe offers amazing views of a mango orchard and Mount Coonowrin right where you sit. The drive there was lovely, peaceful, and picturesque. It's the perfect spot if you need some self-care and a serotonin boost. There's nothing like fresh country air and beautiful scenery to help calm the mind.
Delightful Breakfast and Lunch Options
I enjoyed their reasonably priced eggs benedict, which is my favourite! I also had a delicious latte. The cafe provides gluten-free options and goes out of its way to accommodate dietary requirements, so don’t hesitate to ask. They serve both breakfast and lunch, ensuring you have options for any meal of the day.
A Unique Wildlife Encounter
While enjoying the views, keep an eye out for any kangaroos lazing under the mango trees. My highlight of the visit was Reggie! He stole my toast, and we ended up feeding him some bacon. Watching him try to devour it was hilarious. He ended up with an avocado smash-covered beak! Yes, that’s what the cafe named him, and they even have a warning sign for this cheeky bird!

After our delicious breakfast, we drove a short distance to a nearby lookout. The views were stunning!
